For the first three months of 2014, Chicago’s Whole Foods stores will feature Working Bikes in their One Dime at a Time charitable program. One Dime at a Time is designed to encourage customers to shop with reusable bags while strengthening communities.

To participate, bring your own bag when you shop at Whole Foods in January, February, and March. Opt to give when your cashier asks if you’d like to donate or keep your 10 cent bag credit.

Working Bikes will receive 100% of program proceeds collected at five Chicago Whole Foods stores:

Lincoln Park Whole Foods – 1550 N. Kingsbury

Wrigleyville Whole Foods – 3640 N. Halsted

Lakeview Whole Foods – 3300 N. Ashland

South Loop Whole Foods – 1101 S. Canal

Gold Coast Whole Foods – 30 W. Huron

Thank you in advance to those of you who can chip in a dime!
