Working Bikes will be one of several community organizations featured in The Urban Operating System, an exhibit celebrating the energy and imagination of people who make Chicago a better place to live, work and play in. The exhibit, part of the 13th annual Version Fest, examines projects that serve the common good and connect people to services available in their own neighborhoods. These socially engaged projects promote the cultural use of public space and demonstrate innovative ways to fund ideas and actions. The opening of Urban OS takes place on Friday, June 14 from 6-11pm at:
3219 S Morgan Street
Admission is free.
Don’t miss out on the other Version Fest activities happening all week. Working Bikes will also be at Above the Pavement, a mini festival, on Saturday, June 15 if you’d like to stop by and say hi! For more information about any of these events, you can view the Version Fest event schedule here.
